Hurwitz has outdone himself this time with such an amazing thriller. Starting off with a major death, this book sets itself up for success. Since this is the third book in the pentalogy, you'd expect some closure and a new threat, but NOOOOO. Instead, we're left in the dust with someone more powerful than the original villain to fight Evan, Evan's father figure dead, a new character who brings so much more into this already amazing book and even more suspense. Some relationships grow, while others turn sour, but at the end, Evan is at a better place, even though he hasn't realized it yet. Sure, he might be even more bloodthirsty than before, but it is only after losing someon...
