The Obsession, by Nora Roberts
Received this in the book mail, part of being a member of a Facebook book club. After a lot of dilly dallying, finally started on this book….and was soon engrossed in its twists and turns. The whole book can be divided into three parts… The first where 12 year old Naomi Bowes discovers something that no child should..the middle where her harrowing past has made her into what she is now…and the third part which is full of suspense as the obsession that threatens her future is revealed. I didn’t imagine Nora Roberts to be a writer of thrillers, but this book has been a pleasant surprise. Though some parts of the story were a bit predictable (the romantic bits, actually), overall it was a good read. I would give this 3.5 stars out of 5.
